After buying our Council Flat, I've always wanted to make improvements but never got around to it!

 

Anyway, 3 years and we decided to do our first Home Improvement, or is it the 2nd because our garden was sorted out, but that's another story!

 

The plan was to get rid of the old Council back boiler, that wasn't guarenteed to work.  Which would leave us with a hole in the wall!  We had a new condesing boiler put in the kitchen, losing storage space I might add!  But to solve the problem of the hole, we bought an electric stove fire, a back laminate and a mantel piece, that I got someone else to put up, thanks Carol!

 

It is now done!

 

Must be about another 3 years before the others are done!
